Hi.! I am Bhavya Barot, founder and owner of Konnect Psychology.

I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate their life's challenges. As an overseas-trained doctor, I worked as a community support worker when I first moved to Aotearoa. Supporting the most vulnerable in the community, I was drawn into the mental health field. I started my journey to become a psychologist in 2018 at the Auckland University of Technology. I am trained under the guidance of some of the most experienced therapists in the field.

I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients, where we can collaborate to achieve their goals. My interests lie in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Being a mindfulness practitioner, I also incorporate mindfulness strategies where appropriate in the sessions.

In addition to supporting individuals, I also offer wellbeing services to private organisations, fostering resilience and promoting a healthier workplace environment for employees and organisations.
